SHS FBLA students at State

Mr. Wenzel announced that the Sterling High School FBLA student organization had a successful trip to Topeka earlier this week. The SHS students were among the 1,300 students across Kansas who competed in several events. Several students placed in the Top 10, and five events qualified for nationals in California. The list below provides the events, students in the Top 10, and national qualifiers.

Community Service Project - Porter Anderson, Jace Darnauer, Wyatt Newberry - 1st (national qualifier)

Partnership with Business Project - Katie Inwood, Lydia Webb - 2nd (national qualifier)

Computer Game & Simulation Programming - Leland Britton, Jacobus deWit - 2nd (national qualifier)

Social Media Strategies - Katie Inwood, Lydia Webb - 3rd (national qualifier)

Intro to Social Media Strategies - Sophie Forman, Madlie Rayl, Mily Rincon - 3rd (national qualifier)

Intro to Business Presentation - Meyer Anderson, Macie Gillespie, Kadi Schechter - 5th

Job Interview - Katie Inwood - 8th

Business Communication - Alexis Sant - 9th

Health Care Administration - Lydia Webb - 10th
