Sterling Public Schools is in need of a driver to take our vocational students to Hutchinson every day. The driver picks students up at SJSHS at 7:00, delivers to Hutchinson, and returns them to school at about 11:15. A new driver starts at $17.41 for drive time and $12.11 for stand time. The drive time rate goes up to $19.07 the second year. The pay for this route averages about $340/week with the opportunity to make a lot more in afternoon sub routes. If you are not a currently licensed bus driver you can start driving a Ford Transit but will need to work towards a CDL with school bus driver endorsements.
