Dear SGS Parents,
Our fall parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for next week. With the recent increase of Covid rates in the county, we will be changing the format of our conferences and will be using Google Meet or will conduct conferences over the phone instead of face to face meetings. Your child's classroom teacher(s) should be in communication with you regarding the time, date and format of your conference. It is our hope that by taking these precautions we will be able to help reduce the risk of exposure. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our kids safe and our schools open.
This is a reminder that school is dismissed at 12:30 tomorrow (Wednesday).
For those of you traveling to Inman and Chaparral for activities this week, there are restrictions on the number of fans. Inman is allowing 4 fans per participant for junior high volleyball and football. Chaparral is allowing 225 total, so we are giving out 5 tickets per participant. At this time, we are asking parents to come to the high school office during normal school hours to get their participants tickets. This ticket only allows you a spot at the game, you still have to pay admission once you get there. Once all parents have received their tickets, we will let you know if there are extras. PLEASE let relatives know they will NOT be admitted without a ticket.
Sterling will not be attending the JV volleyball tournament tomorrow, September 12th in Lyons.
