There was a mistake made with winter sports pictures and the day that it was on. Originally we were scheduled for this Friday the 6th. The date has now been changed to next Tuesday, December 10th. We apologize for the change the and thank you for understanding.
SGS is having a personal care supply drive to benefit local families via Goodfellows. Please bring items no later than December 16th! Thank you for your support and generosity.
We're not sure who learns more when our senior high students visit our grade school students . . . We just know we are lucky to have several of these mixed-grade days every year. Today, Mrs. Calderwood's anatomy-and-physiology students guided the grade-schoolers through the special exhibit Body Venture--a tour through the human body emphasizing healthy choices.

COME ONE, COME ALL! Open House for the 3rd - 6th Grade creation of Winter Wonderland is tomorrow night from 6pm - 7pm. Hot Chocolate will be served along with a STEM activity for students and parents to enjoy together. Enter through the main entrance.

Sterling Schools needs a custodian to help maintain our exceptional facilities. This is a full time position, and the hours can be somewhat flexible. The major responsibilities will be:
-Care of the lawn and landscaping at Sterling Junior Senior High School and the athletic complex across the street
-Daily cleaning tasks at Sterling Grade School
-Cleanup after school activities that will involve occasional night hours during basketball season
-Other tasks may depend on skills and experience
Benefits include 10 days paid vacation, 12 days paid sick leave, KPERS retirement, and health insurance. Hourly rate is $16.77-$18.41 based on experience and qualifications.
