Our plans for next week will not be changed by the governor's statewide stay at home order. Distance learning "classes" begin Monday and we will continue to serve lunches the same way we did last week. Thank you for your support and stay safe!

There has been a news article posted on the USD376 website providing parents information regarding the iPads and Chromebooks that went home for students to use. Please take a look as it will be updated with additional resources as the COVID19 situation progresses.
A huge thanks to ALL USD 376 families, students, and staff for a job well done today. Thanks to Sterling PD and the City for their help with street closures; Broadway Market for ensuring our staff helping today get fed; Only 2 no-shows in the entire district! #WeAreSterling

Locker contents are in bags and ready for pickup tomorrow. The schedule is available here: https://fba51c36e1994edd5179-680daf639cffdf5b9aa3bf5282bbcff8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/live_feed_image/image/786425/large_Material_Pickup_032720__1_.png
We've had several questions about Friday's schedule for pick-up times. Determine where your last name falls and find the time for the building in which you have a student. For my family, we fall in the Boor-Butner range, so we would be at SGS at 9:10 then 9:30 at SJSHS.
Friday is the day to pick up materials from school. The attached images outline the process. Please read through each slide. It is important we all maintain order and distance during retrieval. We strongly ask you adhere to the schedule or contact your principal for options.

We are working on plans to allow students to retrieve belongings from our schools, as well as to pick up school-issued devices as requested. We hope to have those plans wrapped up by mid-week and communicated to you. Thanks in advance for your patience.
We are receiving multiple questions about school & plans going forward. We met as a district today & teachers will meet tomorrow to continue planning for learning to resume next Monday, March 30. Be patient & stay tuned. We will update as plans are made. Thanks for your patience.
The Rice County Health Department has recommended that playgrounds are closed. It is not possible to sanitize the equipment and difficult to keep young children feet apart so the playground and basketball courts will be closed until further notice.

The first school lunch distribution will begin shortly. All children age 1-18 are welcome to pick up a lunch and breakfast. We are running a little late, but SHS, Evergreen park and Alden community center will begin ASAP.
