From KSHSAA and KSDE: Spring activities are suspended until at least March 22. No practice, meetings, or anything involving school related activities. This will include play practice this week. If we receive more information, we will continue to send updates through the app.

KSHSAA has cancelled the remainder of the state basketball tournament. Our Bears finish 20-4, having earned a berth in the semifinals.

Sterling High School will have a pep assembly/send off for the basketball teams on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. The team will drive through the front of the school on the way out of town at 9:00. The community is welcome to attend.
SJSHS Adjusted Class Schedule based on 1:30 dismissal times on Wed/Thu and Friday's originally scheduled 12:30 dismissal.
Sterling Public Schools will dismiss at 1:30 Wed. and Thurs. Sterling boys and girls basketball teams qualified for the 2A State Tournament in Manhattan. Because we play at 4:45 both days we are dismissing school at 1:30 to allow staff and students to attend the games.

The Rice County Health Department has asked us to share the attached documents about COVID-19. We are prepared with plenty of disinfectant and sanitizer and plans to keep the schools (and our students' hands!) even cleaner than usual.
